Before there was Southside, Morgan and Irma ran a catering company that specialized in buttermilk fried chicken. Needless to say, they dialed in that recipe and developed a cult-like following. Though the legendary chicken is not on Southside’s everyday menu – for your own protection – you can take some home every Friday evening by advance order online.

In addition to a 10-piece bucket of crisp poultry perfection, you have your choice of classic whole-grain mustard potato salad, tastebud-tingling seasonal slaw, impossibly light and fluffy buttermilk biscuits, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. 

Is there anything better than letting someone else take care of dinner on Friday? We don’t think so. (Pro tip for the weekend: our fried chicken is also phenomenal straight out of the fridge. Just add bubbles for an incredible brunch spread!)
